In-Case Search

In-Case Search lets you quickly find relevant nodes across your entire case using semantic search. Rather than scrolling through a complex graph or long list, type what you’re looking for and get ranked results instantly.

The search bar is located at the top-center of the graph view. Click it or press Cmd+F (Mac) / Ctrl+F (Windows) to activate.

  1. Ensure Search mode is selected (the left toggle option).
  2. Type your query and press Enter to search.
  3. Results appear as a list of matching nodes, ranked by relevance.

Matching nodes are automatically highlighted on the graph, making it easy to see where relevant items sit in the context of your case. Click any result to navigate directly to that node.

In list view, the search bar filters the list to show only matching nodes. Type your query to narrow down the list and quickly locate relevant items.

  • Search works across all node types - entities, documents, captures, web nodes, and more.
  • Use natural, descriptive terms for the best results.
  • Press Escape or click the X to close the search and clear results.
